Winemaking notes
Made from a selection of the finest Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Tortonian geological zone, primarily from the Cerequio vineyard. The wine is aged for approximately 30 months in medium- and large-sized casks, followed by a minimum of 30 months of bottle aging, resulting in the classic structure and aging potential of a Barolo Riserva.
Viticultural notes
Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Tortona area of Barolo, on selected plots including the Cerequio cru. The 2019 vintage benefited from a slow ripening process thanks to balanced weather conditions, resulting in perfectly ripe grapes with a low yield but high quality. Equalitas sustainability certification.
Tasting notes
A deep, complex wine, characterized by an elegant structure and silky tannins. With age or after decanting, it reveals developed aromas of spices, tobacco, and licorice, accompanied by great harmony and a long finish. A refined, powerful, and balanced Barolo Riserva. Press ratings: #46 Top 100 97 JS, 95 Cellar Selection WE
Pairing notes
Serve between 17 and 18 °C. Ideal with roasted meats, game, dishes served in sauce, or aged cheeses. It also pairs well with rich, gourmet dishes. A wine with excellent aging potential that gains complexity after a few years in the cellar.
