Winemaking notes
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with about 13–14 days of skin maceration using a gentle shower system to wet the cap at controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation occurs in tank. The wine is aged for at least two years, including about 18 months in large oak casks, followed by bottle refinement to enhance complexity and balance.
Viticultural notes
Nebbiolo grown in the Barbaresco and Treiso areas on calcareous clay marl soils with sandy and silty components. Vines are trained using the Guyot system and hand harvested to ensure careful selection and optimal ripeness. Sustainable vineyard practices help preserve the character of the terroir.
Tasting notes
Bright garnet red colour. The nose is delicate and complex with notes of small red fruits, fine spices and green pepper typical of Nebbiolo. The palate is elegant and harmonious, with silky tannins, good structure and long persistence. A refined and expressive Barbaresco with excellent balance.
Pairing notes
Serve at about 18 °C. Ideal with roasted meats, game, slow-cooked dishes and aged cheeses. Its elegant structure and refined tannins make it a gastronomic wine that can also benefit from several years of ageing.
