MacNair's Lum Reek 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 3

Our multi-award-winning Lum Reek Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies combine Single Malts from Islay and Speyside – two of the most sought-after whisky regions in Scotland – marrying both peated and unpeated spirit to create perfectly balanced and satisfyingly complex malts.

Billy Walker has sourced the finest vintage Speyside and Islay Single Malts, then blended with aged GlenAllachie, in pursuit of the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character. The spirit was then laid to rest in premium Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks. Batch 3 of the 10-year-old is bottled at natural cask strength of 58.7% ABV, with no colour added and non chill filtered for maximum flavour.

Colour: Intense Mahogany Nose: Waves of toffee brittle, chocolate-covered raisins and caramelised brown sugar, with notes of grated ginger, cigar box and toasted cinnamon sticks Taste: Intense notes of coffee and ginger, with mocha, cinnamon and grilled honeycomb, followed by smoked spices, butterscotch and orange peel
