Viticultural notes
In 1353, Pietro, son of the Supreme Poet Dante Alighieri, bought his first lands in Gargagnago, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region. Since then, the noble Serego Alighieri family has handed down its love for this land and its wines over the generations. Possessioni, a fruity and spicy wine, is the house red of the Conti Serego Alighieri.
Tasting notes
Look: lively, ruby red. Nose: typical cherry aromas, with a slight touch of liquorice. Palate: well-structured with good acidity and intense aromas of ripe cherries. Long finish with hints of resinated wood.
