Winemaking notes
Passion for single malt Scotch whisky has been at the heart of our family business for four generations. This range is an ever-changing collection of unique perspectives on distilleries’ own bottlings, non-chill-filtered single cask and small batch expressions bottled at cask strength — exceptional one-offs.
Viticultural notes
Situated on the side of the A96 overlooking the river Spey, Tormore distillery is unmissable. If ever there was a statement distillery this is it. Constructed in 1959: two crescents of whitewashed houses (which formerly housed the distillery workforce) sit on either side of a grand, palatial building which has been variously described as looking like a Baltic hydropathic hotel and a power station.
Tasting notes
Soft vanilla aromas lead to lime zest and toasted almonds. Sweet guava flavours combine with brown sugar and elderflower. A medium-bodied finish with lingering tropical fruit and oak.
